Welcome to the Journal of Biology team at the Bronx High School of Science in Bronx, NY. We are excited to showcase student research articles, poetry, art, and writing that explore the fascinating world of biological sciences. Join our club, where creativity meets inquiry, and contribute your unique perspective! Our meetings take place every Thursday during 10th period SGI, and we encourage you to write about any biology topic that inspires you. We extend our sincerest gratitude to our faculty advisor, Dr. LaGrassa, for supervising, guiding, and supporting our team every year!

Writing an article for the school's annual biology journal is an exciting process that begins with choosing a topic, whether it be a research paper, poem, or a piece of creative writing. Once the topic is selected, you conduct research and plan your article. After drafting the article, you edit your work with your peers. Upon completion, the article is published in the journal, giving you the opportunity to showcase your work and gain recognition and experience in scientific writing. This collaborative effort not only fosters a sense of community but also offers extensive leadership opportunities! You can apply to join the artist team to create visuals, or apply to the digital team to help manage the website and journal layout, or run for elected positions in the club. JOB is a fun and flexible way to explore the science topics you're passionate about, find friends, and get published!
